Everyone knows that the only reason that Wayne H. Merritt thinks Cruz is “scary” is because Wayne H. Merritt is a racist who hates people of Hispanic heritage.
In how many other papers will this letter appear, under a different name?
Run the text through a search engine and find out.
As Rush said, the left will tell us who the fear by attacking them the hardest.
Naah, needs a, few, more, in, my opinion.
Speaking of Wacko Birds...
Wayne sounds scared to me.
Reagan was tough but he was able to put things into perspective using humor. Which doing that allowed everyone to feel comfortable about the change or whatever he was talking about. Reagan was not a flame thrower. Sure he occasionally had to be direct like “tear down that wall” but for the most part he was stern in a very pleasant way. Is Cruz the same? I am not sure. I have not heard him enough.
“Women’s health”? Ha ha ha. Half those aborted babies were female and they’re not feeling that healthy right now.
“...euphemistically named Liberty University”
What is Liberty University a euphemism for?
McCain’s fat, spoiled daughter.
Wayne’s world?
President Cruz would be scary because he would follow the Constitution , repealing unconstitutional law.
SCARE ME BABY!
Prior to 0 care, a poor, uninsured individual needing health care could go into emergency rooms all over the country and be treated for free. Well that is not quite true, I and other people with health insurance paid for it through obscene hospital bills and insurance premiums. No need to say thanks, I am sure it never occurred to you.
The decrease in uninsured is because the law requires a person to have insurance. Insurance that is quite costly and has deductibles so high that the poor cannot pay them. They will get free health care from the emergency rooms and hospitals. I and others like me who work hard will pay for the free hospital care and we are now forced to subsidize their worthless insurance policy. No need to say thanks, I am sure it never occurred to you.
Individuals with preexisting conditions could get get insurance through state high risk groups. I and people like me who work hard paid for this through taxes and insurance premiums. No need to say thanks, I am sure it never occurred to you.
As to 26 year old "children" getting insurance through their parents policy, I would NEVER ask my parents to take care of me, a grown man. I took care of myself, my wife, my children, and others in my life. In short. I was responsible, I took care of my own life. No need to say thanks, I am certain it never occurred to you.
One other thing, my health insurance now takes all but $150 or so of my pension. Those of us that have been carrying the rest of our fellow citizens who are able but disinclined to work are getting pretty sick of doing so. As a group we have about had it with the incessantly entitled. And frankly I don't give a damn what you think.
Cruze to Victory!
Some additional points of interest:
It was equally appropriate that he did so in front of 10,000 students and faculty members (under the threat of a stiff fine for nonattendance) at the institution of higher learning euphemistically named Liberty University, founded by the late Rev. Jerry Falwell.
No one was forced to go to the speech, under threat of anything. The speech was given during a convocation, where any student missing it is fined $10 (that’s a HEAVY FINE, but requiring me to pay thousands of dollars more for insurance I already have isn’t?)
Falwell was the Evangelical Southern Baptist minister/televangelist, who once proclaimed, There is no separation of church and state. Modern US Supreme Courts have raped the Constitution and raped the Christian faith and raped the churches by misinterpreting what the Founders had in mind in the First Amendment to the Constitution.
There is no separation of church and state. Period. It wasn’t in the US Constitution, it’s not in the Bill of Rights, and it’s not supposed to be. The “wall of separation between church and state” is a myth, and was in a letter written by Pres. Thomas Jefferson in 1802.
I contemplate with solemn reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should `make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.
That’s it - that’s the INTENT.
/What a maroon....
“-16.4 million previously uninsured people to have health insurance”
Under threat of stiff fine for non-adherance!
Idiot author.
Well said. Can’t wait to vote for Ted!
