I was in grade school in 67, made my Bar Mitzvah in 73 and lived there during the beginnings of the Peace Now movement. I learned two things.
One, there are Jewish people and there are Jews. Jewish people live on the upper west side of Manhattan, plant trees, take their kids there and then votes Democrat. They would vote for Hitler id he had a D next to his name. Their lineage is usually European socialist. Jews will go to Israel to clean weapons, help the military, vote Republican and wear a “I am a Zionist hoodlum” button on their hat.
Two. Arabs hate Jews, the rest of the world hates Jewish people.
I have been to Israel in 2011 I understand what you are saying. I was there to photograph a Bat Mitzvah and saw the difference. The difference was the American Jews did not have to pick up the body parts of friends and relatives.
They (members of my tribe) did! Obama is the affirmative action Hitler as I have stated many times. Why didn't I stay Liberal as I was brainwashed with the New Left garbage at a young age? Partially, it was reading Ayn Rand, but then actually reading about what Communism did, I could hardly support it or any of its percepts.
