Not too bad of an idea. Any 16 year old picked at random would be better suited to running a country.

Even better, why not let 16 year olds run for all the offices they would be allowed to vote for? /s You need to think out of the box more. Let's say a 10 year old kid goes into a store. He must pay a tax on whatever he buys. Therefore, it is only fair that a 10 year old should be able to vote for those who impose those taxes.
My proposal: If you can make your way into a store (even by toddling in), you should be able to vote, and hold office for those you vote for.
And anyone who disagrees must hate children, or democracy, or both.
