Our freedom is under attack, of that there is no doubt, but it has been under attack since our founding.
It also can be argued that we have less freedom today than we did even 5 years ago, and certainly far less freedom than 200 years ago.
But our freedoms aren’t gone, to claim so is just nuts.
Worse, the author is essentially throwing in the towel, no more point in fighting. Those are troll words, not words of a patriot.
We have a moral obligation to continue fighting, not only for those who gave their lives, but for our children, grandchildren, and yes, for all of those who follow after that.
The author needs to seek treatment for unwarranted depression.
See tagline.
So, how close to 0% before one ‘calls the game’? Sorry, the Republic was lost over 100 yrs. ago.
We’ve already regressed to the title of serfs in all but name; I don’t believe even their burden of taxes were as high as most. Even more are economic slaves to the ‘generosity’ of govt welfare. No State stands up to assert its 9th, 10th Rights, or those of its Citizens (all being bribed with the $$ of their own peoples, if not drunk off the power/$$ of their own unconstitutional lawlessness).
Yet, I see only lip service paid to our founding documents. Even Cruz touts replacing the income tax...with another slavery tax (flat tax. Nothing ‘voluntary’ there!). Where’s his call to return to a limited govt? How ‘bout abolishing medicaid, SS and the other ponzi schemes, Cruz? Are those not also bad, if not worse?
Nowhere do I see a repeal of any law, any dept. and agency, let alone a start of discussion that BEGINS with/in/based-upon...the Constitution.
Lip service, bloviating and pomposity.
Even if the rumbling of taking back our Life, Liberty and Freedom grow, boot of govt will just assert more pressure to the neck of the Republic. Even if War of Indep. II were to break out, it would never be the same, nor as free, as after the 1st.
