Every furniture store I know also sells decor. So I’m not sure what your point is. You said the room looked like IKEA, but the exact same furniture is in the room as before and is even in the same locations. The furniture itself looks wonderful and they are probably valuable pieces. It is obvious that you didn’t look at the photos carefully before making a comment.

I’m not understanding anything about your rant. I was pointing out that the furniture was exactly the same as in the first photo. You obviously didn’t notice that since you called it IKEA style. It is not IKEA style. In fact, that is the main reason why the room doesn’t look right. If the room had actually been done entirely in the IKEA style with IKEA furniture, it would look much better than it does now. As it is, the room neither looks like IKEA, nor does it look formal. It just looks strange.
