A funny thing about accident investigations. They always want to interview eye witnesses, but not for what people think. Eye witnesses invariably say they saw fire, or heard funny noises. Investigators usually ignore the common perceptions that eye witnesses rely on like that. Instead, they ask questions.

They had interviews with two gentlemen in the nearby village. I watched those with my Wife at around 7:20 PM. I went back to the Daily Mail and was unable to locate them in the evening.

The two men noticed the plane flying and commented about how low it was. They did not see anything amiss at the time and did not hear the crash moments later.
