An “American pride” dance at Lexington High School in Massachusetts was cancelled because it celebrates the United States. Specifically, it promotes the US exclusively and school administrators deemed it offensive.
The United States, school officials stated, shouldn’t be given special consideration in the school.
“Given the diverse demography of our community,” Assistant Superintendent Carol Pilarski explained, “it was suggested by the advisers that the students come maybe national pride theme [sic] so they could represent their individual nationalities.”
Many students and teachers were surprised and dismayed by the school’s decision to cancel the dance.

The parents should go after these teachers and administrators jobs. Take this to court. Do whatever it takes.

And that means what exactly? If 'diversity' has a problem with whites, Western culture and being 'American' then Diversity needs to go away.

Who made the decision? Tar, feathers and a rail seem to be in order, if there are any real Americans left in that neck of the woods!
If I owned such a venue I'd offer it at cost for the event. Just pay my staff and the cost of food and drink. You simply can't buy publicity that good. And it would have the added benefit of discouraging liberals, queers and other undesirables from booking my hall (they're going to be more trouble than they're worth anyway).

Have the students arrange their own private American Pride dance. Invite every country-loving student and teacher, but exclude the Pilarski.
Fundamentally, it is ( and always has been) a single-payer, compulsory-use, compulsory-funded, price-fixed, and monopoly socialist entitlement. Its purpose from the beginning was indoctrination. It has never been neutral because a neutral education is impossible . ( Read John Gatto).

It is very discouraging to read the other posts from people who I know are conservative. These posters are recommending solutions that is like rearranging the icing on a poop cake.

There was an update about this last night on Greta Van Sustren’s program. The school officials have now backed down because of the backlash over this decision. They now claim that the “National Pride” theme in place of “American Pride” was “just a suggestion.”
