As much as I like Cruz for what he stands for, it would be hypocritical to nominate him for president. He was not born on US soil. His qualifications are no better than Obama’s and the Democrat’s would ignore Obama’s credentials and go after Cruz’s.

You mean like as in a guy that had argued and won 9 cases before the the US Supreme Court by the time he was 40 versus a corrupt community organizer from Chicago? Obama is not even fit to clean Ted Cruz’s shoes.
Obama’s mother, no matter where Obama was born, was a naturalized citizen who was not a citizen long enough to infer natural born citizenship on her son.
Cruz’s mother was a natural born citizen. She was under the jurisdiction of the United States at his birth and she registered his birth at the embassy because, as her son, he was under the jurisdiction of the United States at his birth.
