My kids are starting to confront this sort of thing in school.

I choose to outflank the “educators” by telling my kids it’s just a marketing tactic (employing guilt) used by people to get them to think or behave a certain way.

No different than how McDonalds’ commercials are used to get them to buy hamburgers and chicken nuggets.

I can’t understate how effective that route is as a starting point to getting ahead of this nonsense.

Thanks. I’ll use that with my granddaughter. Her birth father is hispanic and her best friend is black. We have had some good discussions. Recently we watched the Boy in the Striped Pajamas and The Book Thief. I know she gets lots of propaganda at school about blacks and Indians. I am trying to teach her that people are fallen and do bad things to other people regardless of color and ethnicity. I tell her about my great grandfather who came from Ireland at the ago of 8 on a famine ship to New Orleans.
