Professor of multicutural education at Westfield State University Robin DiAngelo has a message for white people living in the United States: it doesn't matter what hardships you've had to face, you still have white privilege.
In an interview published today, Professor DiAngelo talked about "white fragility," or how white people dismiss racial issues like "white privilege."
According to the interviewer, Sam Adler-Bell, a story about a Jewish person's struggle against Nazi tyranny "followed a familiar script" for Dr. DiAngelo: a white person is offended when someone says they still are privileged, even though they've faced hardships in their lives.
"Its a frustrating dynamic that I encounter a lot. I dont have a lot of patience for it," DiAngelo said.
...She then continues, "And white fragility also comes from a deep sense of entitlement. Think about it like this: from the time I opened my eyes, I have been told that as a white person, I am superior to people of color..."
"The arrogance of white people faced with questions of race is unbelievable," Dr. DiAngelo concludes.

Thanks. I’ll use that with my granddaughter. Her birth father is hispanic and her best friend is black. We have had some good discussions. Recently we watched the Boy in the Striped Pajamas and The Book Thief. I know she gets lots of propaganda at school about blacks and Indians. I am trying to teach her that people are fallen and do bad things to other people regardless of color and ethnicity. I tell her about my great grandfather who came from Ireland at the ago of 8 on a famine ship to New Orleans.
Schmucks like this make me want to gwet into advanced genetic engineering so i can make a retro-virus that turns all human skin colour into a bright neon shade of green just to shut her sorry trap up.
She’s smart.
She’s cashing in and making money by making “whiteness” her area of expertise.
Divisiveness is her bread and butter.
Pathetic.
.
See? That's the problem right there -- that they have people with titles like this at the moron factories formerly known as college.
As far as I'm concerned, anyone who goes to college these days (unless they are STEM people) is very foolish.
The woman is a menace to society, a leech on the public dole her whole life, and a threat to the advancement of mankind.
The inner misery within her twisted mind and hate filled soul is her punishment.
Makes me wanna grap these self important morons at the these universities by their lapens and shake them while shouting “It’s the Culture!!!! Stuipid, you so Stuipid!!!!”
It must suck to be a member of the most under-achieving ethnic group of all time.
White Privilege even if you are dead, but buried in a cemetery with a headstone. You have taken the place that a person of color should have had.
Get yourself dug up, and give a non-privileged person your casket.
I'm willing to go with that.
From now on, I will refer to them as Black Supremicists.
Interesting. Thanks.
from the time I’ve opened my eyes, more specifically from the time I had a conscious acknowledgement of life, I’ve KNOWN that I needed to try to be a good person, to help others, to pitch in for the family, to study hard, because my parents worked so hard for us, we in turn were expected to work hard and be successful at school, at work , at marriage, at child raising.....its called white RESPONSIBILITY.....we knew what we had to do...
[ Frankly, in 54 years growing up in both mixed neighborhoods as well as all white neighborhoods, no one has ever spoke about racial superiority.
To the contrary, thats all liberals spoke about. ]
It is almost as if the liberals are projecting outward their own inward racist tendancies...
Let's talk about Entitlement [Videos].
Ms. DiAngelo is free to return to Italy where her family recently arrived from.
It’s being repopulated now by black Africans, she should feel right at home.
White guilt.
Hey liberals...just stop it. It's juvenile, embarrassing, laughable, and condescending to those of us who aren't white.
So, Doc, your parents were libs, I see.
What is this “white privilege” - wish I could have had some of it years ago when I was trying to gain traction and launch into some successful enterprise.
No pain, no gain. The “privilege” involved comes from the same root word as “deprived”. Busting your horns involves a great deal of competitive effort expended, and taking the setbacks along with the really tenuous footholds while climbing a rock face under an overhang.
