The writer could be right.

But I don't really think that Hillary needs White House secret intrigue and betrayal to destroy her run to the presidency.

Because Hillary seems to be doing a great job of self-destruction on her own.

For instance, does any sane person believe for one minute Hillary's arrogant, defensive explanation concerning her emails on her server?

Poor Hillary. She is either toast or close to it.

The fat lady is getting ready to sing at this end to the Clinton soap opera as Hillary's run to the presidency quietly comes to an end.

I agree that Hillary can lose the White House on her own, without help from the White House. However it appears that but for Jarrett leaking the email scandal there wouldn’t have been a press conference and no one would have been the wiser about what she did as Secretary of State.
