Correct. I’ve seen the demo shots on youtube and was not impressed. Now the .45 ACP Winchester Ranger 230gr. JHP (which is a Black Talon with a new name) - THAT is an impressive round. The 124gr. 9mm JHP Ranger is no slouch either.
I wouldn’t buy them. No telling what a prosecuting attorney would tell a jury. On the other hand, as far as penetration, a cement block didn’t stop them.
My first thought was, what are those fleshettes going to do on a 300 pound person with a healthy layer of insulation? As small and light as they are, he would probably get a nasty infection, but there is still the body of the round penetrating deeper, so it would probably work like any other ball ammo, just be messier to clean.
