My decision was based solely on what the Bible says. You just don’t find any admonitions to “send your kid to a good school.” There isn’t anything in the Bible that would indicate that corporate education is God’s design. You find almost infinite, explicit commands and implicit examples of God’s design for educating kids: parents.

There should be no doubt what God intended. I would even say, though I’d be way outside of what’s accepted in Christianity over the past 100 years, that this is fundamental to Christianity. The family makes up the framework of almost everything in scripture. Take Hebrews 11 as an example. Almost all of the people mentioned showed their faith within the context of the family.

Anyway, this could be as simple or complex as a person wants to make it. To make is simple, Christianity is really messed up. It’s because parents don’t pass anything to their kids.

The homosexual agenda is well funded. They see the success schools have had in distancing kids from their parents. In just a few short years we’ve gone from almost universal disgust with homosexuality to almost universal acceptance. It’s a paradigm shift. Paradigm shifts take a lot of work and this is just one of the tools. It’s just the idea of homosexuality that people accept. The act is still disgusting to almost everyone. They have to be exposed to it in the right context to make it normal.

The next step is universal condemnation of anyone who disagrees.

“I don’t understand how that actually got into a high school class,” said one parent"

Simplest answer is that the teacher is a sexual degenerate and is free to infect the minds of vulnerable students. There is no longer a taboo structure in America. All degeneracy is allowed and even encouraged. ... It works to reduce population, a major point in the agenda 21 plan being impliment4ed in America. And for the naïve among us, BOTH parties are enabling it all.

That teacher deserves to be vetted and have his activities investigated. Loosing his job should be the least of his worries.

Failing that, perhaps some street justice in the form of an "accident" could be arranged...

I want to know the motivations for pushing stuff like this on students.

Recruiting, grooming.

I hope this does not happen but possible:
Even women and men who are married couples may be encouraged to prefer sexual expression that is normally considered homosexual in nature. In this way the elite members of society who push Eugenenics will not have to worry about a man and woman who might marry with the idea of having children. If this happens procreation will become rare. Maybe only elites will be allowed to have children. Couples may want to avoid having children to avoid some severe penalty that might be imposed for having children.

I saw a case the other day where an older white man paid a younger black man for sex. The older white man paid the young black man and was completely submissive to the younger black man but the young black man decided to kill the older white man and steal other items of value from the older white man including his car. A possible political statement may be embedded in this poem. Stick to what you believe unto your dying breath because giving yourself over completely may not be enough to save your life.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

allen ginsberg was one of those who sued for pornographic freedom, under the 1st Amendment.

The poem ‘please master’ was read by my high school literature teacher, in 1969.

We who alive and paying attention are seeing the live manifestation of what was written in The Revelation of John, long ago. God does not lie. God does not falter. What is coming has been foretold by our God and Savior, for our benefit, to help us stand regardless of the threat. Evil is striding openly across America. To speak out against it brings ridicule, a sure sign that you are right on target. In the not so distant future (our children’s lifetimes) the reaction will be far more evil than ridicule. We can already see it live in living bloody read color at the hands of Satan’s servants, as ISIS take off the heads of Christians in the Middle East. Trim your lamp and that of your family members, for the return of The King is close, even at the door.

I graduated high school in 1970 and thankfully, somehow, escaped Allen Ginsberg. Of course I had heard of him but was never subjected to his bile.

Allen Ginsburg was a beat poet. His poem “Howl” was banned in the 50’s.

IMHO, "Howl" is a great poem. But very definitely not one to be taught to schoolkids.

I never got it. The only beat poetry I like was from Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Not even a fan of Borroughs. I do like a number of Jack Kerouak books. I saw that movie they made of "On The Road" a few years ago and I thought it was terrible.

dear ilovesarah2012,

I guess being in the same high school, and behind by two years, as good ol’ Joe Lie-ber-man, has it’s downside.

“I want to know the motivations for pushing stuff like this on students.”

I think, as someone else posted, the motivation ties in with the UN Agenda 21 plans. Those plans were probably taken from the communists plans to advance THEIR agenda much earlier on. Destruction of the family weakens not only our nation, but individuals as well. The young and impressionable make for easy targets. This teacher may very well have no other motivation than feeding his own personal spiritual disease.

This whole thread has been on my mind throughout the day. At an even deeper level, as I’m sure you’re aware, a battle is being waged between God and Satan. Much of that ongoing battle ultimately takes place at the individual level. It is the ongoing war for souls. This ‘teacher’ has obviously fallen from Grace and is either consciously going after the ‘soft targets’, or he is no longer the master of himself and entites of darkness are using him for their goals. Now THAT is what I’ve been pondering to some degree today.

The article leads to a homoerotic poem. I was not shaken about the sexual content of the poem. I thought the sexual Master-Slave relationship in the poem had political implications for the Whites who have been “kneeling down and bending over” for about 50 years in the name of political correctness and national unity in the hope that we will all get along. From time to time I have seen stories about whites who have intimate relationships with blacks. It is quite possible that some of the blacks will not be satisfied until we are all dead. Even if whites allow blacks to rape and rob the whites first!
