As Texas transplant to WA, I recommend your daughter look into the employment situation in the TriCities (Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco), and then visit Seattle periodically (Portland, too). The weather is far better on what is called the East side, traffic is so much lighter, cost of living is lower, our politics (in the TriCities) is much more Conservative, and, if interested, she will have a better chance of meeting men who are really men.

We got so accustomed to Seattle’s overcast skies, when the sun came out, we cringed and called it the evil star of the daytime. To make matters worse, I lived in Tukwila, the car theft capital of the US. If you go to the area, be wary of the melanin-enhanced neighborhoods lest you lose a car. And yup, I have mine stolen and wrecked.
