Slavery is the same as a 100% tax rate on income. Any lesser percent is merely a matter of degree.
Do you own it?
Most Americans dont.
Actually, nobody owns their home. You may have title to it but after you pay off the bank you're now just renting it from the local tax assessor's office. Just try skipping your real estate taxes and see how long you continue to 'own' your home.
The Grandpa sharecropped for 70 of a 70/30 split.....during an acknowledged recession.
The government(s) now confiscate 55-65% now (when you comprehend ALL of the ‘taxes’).
Taxation is still theft.
two kinds of slavery...
one is usually voluntary (signing up for mortgages or car payments or credit card clothing purchases, etc)
the other is truly involuntary (taxes)
..the first is the natural result of maximal individual liberty, you can do more things in your life if you have access, at least, to some credit
...the second (while in PART necessary) is (at least in its excess) genuine involuntary servitude (slavery)
Good article.
One thing the article missed is that income tax withholding has rendered everyone into sharecroppers. That’s because our boss takes his share of the fruits of our labors FIRST and then we get to have whatever our boss is munificent enough to allow to us.
Out of our share of the fruits of our labors many of us willingly indenture ourselves to banks to repay debts with sometimes outlandish amounts of interest. Thus also making people into indentured servants.
But if the banks get a court order attaching someone’s wages and holdings in order to repay a debt then people actually become slaves because sometimes a court will order a person to labor in order to repay a debt, interest, and court costs.
Naturally, if you do not owe any money to the banks they punish you for your resistance to the Collective by causing your credit score to go down. A ‘good’ credit score is a persons’ reward for giving their income to the banks on a reliable schedule.
Screw the banks. Pay cash.
Years ago I tried to open an account at one of the largest ranches in S. Texas, I was informed that they would not do it because I had no credit at all.
The lady asked me how a 52 year old man had no credit. I told her I paid cash gor everything. She asked about my house I told her I built it on land I paid cash for.
I went down the street to a bank formed in a town along the Rio Bravo, they opened my account. There aint but three things that come from that town.
“Years ago I tried to open an account at one of the largest ranches in S. Texas, I was informed that they would not do it because I had no credit at all.”
I don’t understand, why would you want/need to open an account at a ranch?
Slavery is just a step towards where “Those That Rule” want to take us. Next step is Pet-Status, where they get to openly make decisions about wheteher to continue with us or put us down. Final step is “Livestock Status where we exist solely at the pleasure/discretion of the government and when “ripe” our bodies can be harvested or destroyed as they see fit - this status is akin to the current “Embryo-Status that allows millions of babies to be destroyed for convenience and is a crucial desensitizing step in the overall agenda.
A lot of Freepers tell me Chinese factory workers in US operated off shored plants aren’t slaves but proclaim we are slaves in the USA. LOL.
My tablet has been giving me fits!
The bank is owned by the ranch!
I was thinking maybe you meant this kind of ranch:

I’ve been a slave to the US$ all my life . .
and knew that once I had to earn a living for myself.
