A college student in Oregon has been banned from anywhere on campus that a fellow student is, not because he has done anything wrong, but because he resembles the person who raped that student.
That means if the student lives in a dorm and the student who was raped is there, he cannot sleep in his own dorm. If she has a class in a room near him, he is not allowed to go to class.
Again, this is not because he did anything, but literally because he looked like the person who had raped her.
The campus, which is not being named by the Harvard professor who wrote the exposé that first reported on the incident, then investigated the student for a month, checking into his sexual and criminal history.

Perhaps ONLY candidates that have NOT graduated college should be considered for President.
That’s funnty.
That's the beauty of Double-Secret Probation.
We have graduated from ‘trigger words’ to ‘trigger looks.’
I don’t believe this story.
.
The TV show with the Devil looking like Obama ,LOL
The student who looks like the rapist; must be white otherwise it would be racist.
The solution is to put all men in burkhas.
And not permit them to venture outside the home unless accompanied by an adult female.
Please tell me this is a satire site.
I’m not sure I believe it either. It too cleanly fits all sorts of biases and preconceived notions of how universities operate these days.
Will wait for confirmation.
I find it a bit hard to believe, too.
But in an era when a man like Barack Obama can get elected president of this country TWICE, believing outrageous stuff gets easier and easier.
Maybe if he just wore a ski mask all the time.
Given that PC in the workplace dictates that the “perception” of the victim is all that matters then this makes sense.
You can say (or not say) “Good morning.” to someone and, if they choose to, they can denounce you for any or all of the following:
Racism, homophobia, sexual harassment, sexual discrimination, retaliation, intimidation, threats, and etc.
And once you’re accused there is no defense because all that’s needed to convict you is the word of the person denouncing you.
So if you look like someone else and somebody is offended by this then it’s your responsibility to cease looking like yourself.
Sounds like the kid has a good lawsuit against the university.
Beautifully stated. The Brave New PC World in a nutshell.
