So for the record......it takes more than a birth certificate and passport to be an American. Frankly, I haven’t heard much coming from the White House that upholds the virtue of American ideals, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. You want to prop up the propaganda of this crowd, have at it.

I can't speak for the White House. You need to contact the White House directly.

However, as an educational piece, the usual citizenship rule in Iran is: a person born in Iran does not automatically have the right to Iranian citizenship. One parent needs to be by birth Iranian and registered as such. Mainly the father, but the mother also can apply.
