The Democrats had finally found their JFK clone! They had tried with a myriad of candidates in the past and met with limited success. They always searched for a candidate who had the JFK-like exuberance and tufts of hair for that “young” look, (Jimmy Carter, Ed Muskie, Ted Kennedy, George McGovern, Walter Mondale, Michael Dukakis, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, etc.
Finally! A suave, sophisticated sounding (not like that “Cowboy” Bush) intellectual Sophist, and an African-American to boot! Glory be! What an amazing ploy! What an amazing tactic. It worked flawlessly.
Now, America (and all her allies)are paying the price for her self-dillusionment and catatonic amateurish statecraft. The world is crumbling all around the West and people are only beginning to see the price for their folly even though it has not yet reached its peak.
Prepare for a difficult age as Iran goes Nuclear with Soviet, oops, I mean Russian aid. America's enemies are toasting the American public (with Vodka) with cries of joy and amazement. All over the planet both friend and foe alike are shaking their heads in disbelief at a once great America, a superpower who relinquished her power and confidence by a virtually unknown community organizer.
