I would agree with most of the analysis....although ‘cult’ probably fits as well or better than Manson family. If you write down the ten requirements to be a cult...all ten fit in this case. I’d also agree that if all Muslims sat down...read the actual history (from their own trilogy) and thought about it without scholarly type figures telling what to think...they’d all say that ‘number one’ was not the kind of person they’d want as a prophet or visiting the house while their ten-year old daughter was there.
And in fact, satanic cult is most appropriate. The voice in the head of the prophet and the modern “radical” followers is satan. None other can twist reality and deceive humans as the enemy.
