How long will it take Obama to understand that Islamic State can only be comprehensively defeated by military action undertaken on the ground by a properly equipped, authorised United Nations international force?
There are some 60 States in the American-led coalition pledged to degrading and destroying Islamic State—but only 21—regarded as “key members” were at the Conference in London on 22 January—which UK Foreign Minister Philip Hammond described in these terms:
“Today, 21 key members of the global coalition met in London to review and discuss our efforts to degrade and defeat ISIL not just through military force, but by addressing the underlying narrative of the organization, its financing, its flow of foreign fighters, and by reasserting our commitment to Iraq. In total, over 60 countries have signed up to the global coalition, showing the international will and commitment to combat this threat.”
US Secretary of State John Kerry was at pains to clarify why the other 39 States had not joined the talk-fest:

Add to the headline “Obama bungles” once again
I do not believe that Obama has any desire or intention of defeating the Islamic State. He wants them to triumph, either in a way that allows the U.S. to peacefully coexist with them, or if that is not possible, with a complete worldwide victory for Islam.

How many US troops do want to be deployed? And for how long? What will it cost, and where will the money be obtained - more borrowing, more taxes, or cuts in which programs?
What do you anticipate will be the casualty rate for US troops?
These are real questions, because credible military action requires planning and estimates. What are yours?

I’m sure they think that, if they can institute pure Communism over the globe, with absolute power and control, they will be able to stamp out anything that threatens the government. Until that day comes, they will use anything that divides the Peoples to further their plan of complete world domination by a unified government. No reason to actually solve any problems that can be made useful to them that aspire to rule with an iron fist.
