“building a 600-mile-long barrier complete with five layers of fencing, underground movement censors and radar cameras on their northern border”
What a bunch of racists.

Walls are great features....but there must be a strong deterrent on the other side that will punish anyone “illegal” that crosses it where they the punishment is greater than the reward...until then - it’s wasted money - much like “reconstruction” was in Iraq and Afghanistan!

I wouldn't be surprised if we learned it's a US design and Saudi liked it .. and got it
(Notice I didn't say .. buy it)

sounds great but its 5 or 6 years too late,
the IslamoNazi have snuck (or Obama has paid to bring them) in here, hoardes of them....
doesn’t do much good to build a wall once the enemy is inside your tent
unless we’re ready to expel the Enemy Within
then a wall would make perfectly good sense!

Walls can also keep you in. Better IMO to reduce the ability of employers to hire illegals.

At this point, just walling off the border might not be enough. I suggest we wall off California and the East Coast too, just to be sure. We’ll still have a few bad pockets in the interior, but we can deal with those on a case-by-case basis.

We could send over a couple thousand Mexicans to test it out for them.

We should simply build military bases along the border & use the land in between them for training. The cartels & coyotes will give up when they keep running into platoons of soldiers playing war games along the border.
