We want more cars, better vests, more manpower the rank and file cops yelled at a push and shove throw down held last week in Queens with the NYPD Patrolmens Benevolent Assn (PBA). Anger and a serious split among borough cops surfaced against their union leaders, especially Patrick Lynch, head of the 23,000 member PBA. (1) What Lynch keeps demanding is not nearly as high on the constables wish list as their own physical safety. Lynch wants words, they want action. After all, an apology from New Yorks Marxist Mayor for his abusive and dangerous criticism of the NYPD is probably not forthcoming, anyway.
Kevin Jackson, owner and publisher of BlackSphere web site, revealed that unsurprising fact just prior to an earlier meeting of top cop leaders. Incredibly, de Blasios very own higher ups were calling on elected state and federal officials to put the heat on the rank and file forhorror of horrorsturning their backs on the man who has to earn their respect first. Of course, de Blasio responds by letting protestors get away with dumping heavy garbage cans down on the heads of cops trying to protect the bridge and main arteries into the world biggest terror site.
Puny vests that could fail, filthy, run down station houses, disgusting working conditions, not enough cops in cars, these are among the principle concerns of NYPD employees. They dont care much about Lynchs own personal re-election campaign which some observers believe may have prompted Lynch to put out that online dont come to my funeral petition which produced only about a 4% response.
Grandstanding by union leaders craving re-elected to cushy union jobs is nothing new. At one Chicago area college, after a very long strike, a sweetheart deal was covertly struck that gave top unionists a...

One of these days the cops will learn that the union doesn’t represent them - it only represents itself.
Unions, all about privileges, not rights, because they have an insatiable appetite for new blood and kick to the curb the old one for their profits, illegal immigration style.
The Florida Sheriff Association is antigun despite Florida cops being pro guns.
Maybe this will be the time they finally figure it out.
There are towns and cities all over the country that need good cops. Those NYPD that can should just flip a collective finger at deblasio AND the stupid union, and walk out.
The incumbent DA is a lefty DemRat, and he is campaigning to fill a seat being vacated by a GOPster who succeeded generations of 'Rats but then cheated on his taxes and is now headed for Club Fed (what, he thought he wouldn't get pulled over by the Obama Political Cops? After what happened to Herman Cain and a bunch of Tea Partiers?).
Apparently, the writer thinks Rush got sucked in.
Billy Warren de Wilhelm de Blasio is a Marxist. Unions are the building blocks of Marxism/communism. Case closed.
Unions as collective controllers of members must be abolished. To have such organizations dictating the standards of society and even worse providing cover for any lame brained individuals is not tolerable in a free/open society.
Sorry, no sympathy for these cops. They support the democrats, their union bosses and the union itself and then cry when they don’t get common sense in return. Everyone who has a brain can see that the union bosses and the politicians are in it for themselves but the same people get endorsed and elected by the PBA.
HERE'S A ROSTER OF De BLASIO's CHUMS---who were rewarded w/ tax dollars:
<><> De Blasio served several terms on the city council and was elected NYC public advocate in 2010.
<><> he has a long history with the controversial ACORN. He was endorsed by the shady ACORN types for his 2010 public advocate race....and rewarded his pals---steering tax dollars to an ACORN front group
<><> De Blasio spent $43,000 to hire N.Y. Citizens Services Inc., an affiliate of ACORN, to run canvassing, consulting and field work for his public advocate campaign.
<><> As a NYC councilman, de Blasio steered $115,000 in taxpayer dollars directly to ACORN as well as to the organizations affiliate, the New York Agency for Community Affairs.
<><> De Blasios 2010 public advocate campaign was also endorsed by the ACORN-founded Working Families Party, with which the politician demonstrates a larger working relationship.
<><> As a NYC councilman, de Blasio was hired as a consulate by a group called the Progressive America Foundation, which reportedly paid him $33,000 to lobby for election regulations that would ease restrictions on third parties such as the Working Families Party, or WFP. The foundation is closely tied to WFP.
<><> De Blasio chummed-up and spent $67,740 to hire WFPs for-profit branch, Data and Field Services, for canvassing and election consulting. The organization was run from the same office as New York ACORN.
<><> WFP was founded by progressive activist Dan Cantor, founder of the socialist-oriented New Party. De Blasio reportedly served as executive director of the New York branch of the socialist New Party.
<><> WND previously revealed that President Obama himself was listed in New Party literature as a member.
<><> De Blasio is still supported by the ACORN apprat. Bertha Lewis, former ACORN ex/director, spoke for de Blasio at numerous events during the mayoral election.Ive known Bill for decades, and weve fought on the front lines together. Weve organized together, Lewis said, according to EAG News. [He's] proud to say he is severely progressive and was proud to stand with me, to back me, to back ACORN, and said, We will march down the street together and I dare you, I dare you, to say something against my friend," Lewis said.
