It means the Pope is infallible until he says something stupid that makes you cringe. Either that or Mistranslation.

Oh the ignorance about the Catholic Church which gets spewed here. The Pope speaking off the cuff is not Infallible. The Pope speaking as Pope alone is rarely infallible. The Pope validating the historical teachings of tje Church and their logical conclusions is still not infallible as Pope , but the teaching Magisterium usually is.
