New York City Patrolmen Rafael Ramos and Wenjin Liu are dead at the hands of an assassin who executed them as they sat in their patrol car eating lunch, working an overtime shift.
“They were, quite simply, assassinated,” a shaken NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton said Saturday night.
The shooter — identified as Ismaaiyl Brinsley — boasted about wanting to murder cops in the hours before he ambushed the officers outside the Tompkins Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 2:45 p.m.
“I’m putting wings on pigs today. They take 1 of ours ... let’s take 2 of theirs,” Brinsley, 28, wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of a silver handgun.
He also included three hashtags: ShootThePolice, RIPErivGarner (sic) and RIPMikeBrown.
“This may be my final post ... I’m putting pigs in a blanket.”

It was still a terrorist crime. The killer was a black Muslim that speaks Arabic, who had made terrorist threats in GA in 2005 according to his arrest record.

The meme will be that the police had it coming because of their previous actions.

Union has told cops to not go in or interfere in crime calls unless they can arrest and charge, so when black on black crimes soar...OH Well, all decisions have consequences. Too bad the innocent will suffer right along with the guilty.

It’s coming again...next election in NYC, for starters - just as they had their love-in with General Dinkins, New Yorkers, I guess every generation, have to be REMINDED that their city sucks, unless there is an ADULT in charge.
Beyond that, the outrage is showing up in the white community where we OWN the south now, and the Dems are lucky to get 25% of the white vote (they got 11% in Mississippi in the last election). Then the Hispanics down here are turning, with 45% voting Republican (i.e., they are almost canceling themselves out in the South). Now, if the white rage moves North, and Asians start to (finally) figure out the Democrats (a bit of that is happening in California now, actually) - then our form of revolt will put an END to the Democrat Party.

Brinsley made it clear that this is a black v. non-black thing.
The rational subjects might want to be armed, but the rational ruling class forbids it. And the rational ruling class, desiring a disarmed subject class, isn't about to let this crisis go to waste. I'll give 10:1 odds that any call for gun control modifications will be to tighten them.
Then there is the matter of what fraction of the people living in NYC are rational. Look who has been elected mayor, and before this communist, there was gun-grabbing Bloomberg. What I'm implying is that a majority of NYC'ers may WANT to be disarmed as a matter of criminal law.

Those of you who are angry at the state-sponsored media for not mention the race or the religion of the lone-wolf terrorist (let’s call it what it is) should not underestimate yourselves, or the American public at large.
Just because the NYT hasn’t mentioned it, doesn’t mean ANYONE following the story doesn’t already know. As a typical red-blooded Real American, you immediately assumed the shooter was black (as I did). You then quickly make a check to make sure the shooter didn’t come from the confessional at St Patrick’s (as did I). We were right on both counts.
You are not racist or biased for thinking these things before they are even confirmed. You simply go by track record, and you’re own memory of recent events. You are in fact, no different than most other Americans.
I’m also in media. Allow me to explain a little about how this works:
In the news rooms, you’ll find the crem-dela-crem of Marxists from your ivy-league j-school (mostly lily white) who firmly believes that any in any criminal event, any mention of race or religion other that ‘white/Christian’ is
a) considered racist.
b) Frowned upon by upper management
c) likely to be spiked before going to press (or on air)
d) with a very stern warning about what will happen if it persists.
Not hard to enforce since most reporters believe option ‘a’ anyway.
You see, in their minds, if they don’t report it, it’s not an issue. Of course they know the perp is black. Of course they know is a just another worthless piece of Islam (yeah, I went there). And they know that YOU know that. But why give you (the Real American) the small victory of admitting that? By them not mentioning it, THEY don’t have to think about at the next wine and cheese party inside the gated community.
Not to mention the old adage: “Everyone slows down and looks at car/train wreck”. To some of the sickos in the newsrooms of America, this whole “Hans up Dont Shoot/I can’t breathe” BS is like pointing to high speed trains at each other on the same track and filming the results. Great for ratings, because they know knuckle heads like us...
... will be watching with the false hope that we may be told the whole truth - instead of the norm.

Sounds par for the course in NYC. So NYC residents will be treated to more stringent gun control (as if it can get more stringent than it already is), coupled with the spectacle of the NYPD conducting its business in armored personnel carriers.
