You may remember the recent story of the 12 year old black kid killed in Cleveland the other day. He was the third in the trilogy of cops killing blacks.

He was brandishing an air soft pistol with a missing orange tip. A black state congress woman introduced legislation saying all toy guns sold in the state must be painted totally in bright colors.

I believe the Hamilton County Sherriff released this story (even tho not totally accurately) to “disarm” that legislation.

Toy guns can be painted black. Real guns can be painted orange. It’s the pointing that makes the difference.

I’ve always been opposed to colored guns. It makes the ‘toy’ aspect all the more tempting to a child that finds one.

"I believe the Hamilton County Sherriff released this story (even tho not totally accurately) to “disarm” that legislation." If that is true, then he should hold another press conference where he "corrects" the initial error, and makes clear that there have been colored guns in circulation for generations:

Pink High Standard Sentinel revolver, introduced in 1957.
