Let me ask you, pointedly:

Are you someone who is alarmed with police militarization?
Do you repudiate police who shoot dogs with little to no justification or provocation?
Do you reject 'dynamic entry' and SWAT tactics by police unless absolutely called for (hostage situations or definite circumstances when evidence is being destroyed)?
Do you prefer to see warrants served with a simple knock or when the suspect is in transit to a job or a store, as opposed to flash-bangs and machinegun-toting black-clad paramilitary units being employed to serve those warrants?
Are you angered when you see a policeman violating the Bill of Rights willfully and with complete understanding he or she is doing so?

These are simple yes-or-no questions. Please make your views understood to us all.

I think you do hate cops. That hatred is making you hate me because I believe there are cop-haters infesting FR - and there obviously is.

I've been a Freeper for a long time. I'm a very conservative Christian. I'm logical, not emotional.

I don't want big government or militarized cops. Bad cops should be punished. No-knock is just wrong. But local citizens are responsible for setting the limits for cops - cops will do what they are told and/or what citizens like you tolerate.

If you don't want dogs shot, then tell the local cops that. Then you are responsible when someone dies because cops can't get around a dog to save someone, You can’t turnaround and blame cops for not saving someone.

Cops used to be required to be 5'10” and male - they could take down strong men because cops were bigger than average.

Many of your complaints about cops are because height/sex requirements are no longer allowed. Female cops, and thus male cops now use guns and other means to arrest because they are no longer bigger than the crooks they are chasing.

The cop hating on FR is part of what got those two cops murdered. And when cops draw back from taking risks, the citizens who call them for help will be injured, too.

You should be more thoughtful in your pursuit of cops. Take care of your local business and let free Americans take care of their locations - unless you want the feds to control it all.
