As I understand it the malware was written in Korean. The warning that has been posted is obviously not written by a native English speaker. As someone who spent 3 years in Korea and is married to a Korean it sounds very much like something written by a Korean.

North Korea has the resources and the will to do this.

“As I understand it the malware was written in Korean.”

If I wanted to put this off on the Norks, I’d translate the source code into Nork too. I’m shocked it wasn’t written in Yiddish.

RE: As I understand it the malware was written in Korean.

Does it follow then that the malware is written by a North Korean? What about somebody ( other than a Korean ) who can speak Korean?

I can understand the will, but do the Norks really have the resources to do that? You mean to tell me they can afford the massive computing power needed to hack Sony?

North Korea has the resources and the will to do this.

So does the NSA and a host of anti net neutrality, DRM types who can use this to get their employees in Congress to further screw the Muppets. Already saw some clown of indeterminate gender, who was a former FCC head now cable industry flack, on CNBC bubblevision agitating for more government control of the web.
