DECEMBER 16, 2014 Jeb Bush: The Wrong Name At The Wrong Time Hes not the candidate Republicans need for 2016. By Charles C. W. Cooke
And theyre off! This morning, in a notably understated Facebook post, former Florida governor Jeb Bush announced that he was thinking about thinking about running for the White House. I have decided, Bush confirmed, to actively explore the possibility of running for President of the United States. Best wishes to you and your families for a happy holiday season, he teased. Ill be in touch soon.
The reactions came thick and fast. Depending on the speaker, Bush was greeted as a glorified Democrat, hiding inside an elephants hide; as a colorless moderate, too insipid and too dull to provoke any reaction at all; or as precisely the sort of competent, calm, and respectable politician that Republicans will need if they are to win back control of the executive branch.
Celebrating the move, Bushs champions focused on his excellent record as a two-term governor and played up his social conservatism; lamenting the news, his detractors relitigated his approach to the disaster that is Common Core, and his unreliable position on immigration. Would Bush be a good president? Your mileage may vary.

undoubtedly showing Bush ahead in an effort to deflate the Cruz supporters.
Oh, you know that the media will start putting out fake polls showing Bush ahead of Cruz 60/40 just to keep Cruz out of the race. When in reality its more like 80/20 Cruz!
Jeb Bush: The Wrong Man At Any Time!
Two words: Terri Schaivo.
I’m all for him running - as a Democrat!
In other words, he has a spine of gelatin. Jell-O Bush.
yeah I know, that is why I almost never look at the polls, nor care too.
they are not simply cooked; they are slow roasted into jerky.
Jeb Bush supports Common Core and gave Hillary a Freedom Award.
Did we ever find out why he and Daddy Bush met with Odumbo at the White House? I never heard. But, I don’t forget they went there.
Remember those 4 million that stayed home in 2008 and 2012?
It will be 8 million in 2016 with Bush.
Bush may as well run against Hillary, at least he will win and save us from a possible Elizabeth Warren in the white house!
Excellent!
The name has nothing to do with it.
Being Pro-Amnesty, Pro-Common Core, and a Globalist does.
No more traitorous Chamber of Commerce controlled RINOS!
I would like to propose “Cruz With Cruz” as the official Cruz catch phrase.
The ONLY reason Jeb is in is to grab up the donor ca$h early...and to split the vote up in the primary. He knows he can’t win the WH...so he’ll do the next best thing...deny conservatives it. Remember, the Jeb crowd won’t care if Hillary wins, they all get pay days one way or another. Just as the establishment always does. We can stop them though. We nee to get behind Ted, he may announce sometime around March-June
I am weary of having to choose the “lesser of two evils”
I want a conservative who actually cares about the constitution.
