this person seems judgmental... yes, some of the trees are sad-looking... some are quite nice... i do not see the “depressing” ornaments this person sees... some of the trees look to be decorated with some care... of course, these are not in people’s homes... i guess they ought to forgo any type of decoration at all? or should they put real wrapped presents under the trees to make the them “authentic?” in any case, Christmas trees cannot feel any emotion...

Wish I could post a picture of a Sad Christmas Tree...but I do not have a Christmas or a tree. Some in my family are atheist so we do not celebrate Christ. I just bake goodies and deliver them to family and friends. Haven’t had a Christmas dinner since 2006. That was the year the atheist announced their discuss for Christmas.

It’s in a small trailer so it fits in its environment. :-)

This looks like the best Xmas tree I ever had!
It was my first year in the military stationed in Japan. I loved my little tree branch!

The trees are not sad, and I bet each of these cheered some people. All those spaces are better for having their trees in it. And some of it was decorating snark. Should banks and airports have real “presents” under their trees??

That’s a classic Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. Nothing sad about it.

“Thats a classic Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. Nothing sad about it.”
That particular tree was imbued with otherworldly righteousness by the “waving of the hands” of the Peanuts Children.
This phenomenon has never been neither duplicated nor adequately explained by science.

I always thought it was rather unfair that nobody bothered to thank Snoopy for his crass commercialism (without which, the tree would never have been restored to such Christmas-ey perfection).
