Won’t happen because cotton is harvested by machine now….just as fast food places will soon have robots doing work that unions want $15/hr. to do.
With minorities and ignorant Whites dropping out of high school, there will be nothing for them to do but cause trouble.
My (white) daughter picked cotton a couple of years ago. Never underestimate the resiliency of poverty and intractability of ignorance. Choices can make life hard.
