One good thing back in those days, when the Baltimore Bullets moved to DC, they changed their name to the Wizards, in a symbolic attempt at reducing the crime rate. That worked out well, didn’t it? Time to put this stiff in the ground before he stinks up the place even more and becomes a bio hazard.

Because naming your team after a rank in the KKK is so much better than bullets when you’re playing in a predominately AA community!

The team began as the Chicago Packers which I did not now till I just looked it up.

Actually, it was the Washington Bullets from 1974 - 1996. Then they had the fans picking by process of elimination until it was Stallions vs. Wizards. Bad either way.
