Insurance doesn’t cover businesses damaged by riots.

Not sure if homes are or are not.

But if property values are sent into a nosedive, what’s to keep folks from packing the important pix & papers, and personal effects plus bare minimum of furniture (bed, small table n chairs) into a U-Haul and go to their relatives or friends ?

goos insurance does....it doesn't cover war nor acts of war, but vandalism and riots...usually.

I guess that’s always an option. I guess I was just thinking of a normal progression of events, lol.
