Cheaper fuel is offset by higher food prices, and the majority of the masses have no real stake in the stock markets. Most people are still living from paycheck to paycheck, and cannot keep up with inflation.

Not to mention a good part of the lower gas prices is due to collapsing demand instead of supply abundance.
