Sheeperals don’t need no stinking “logic”...
Sheeperals want to feel good about themselves for “caring about the poor”, while at the same time making no individual personal sacrifice to do so.
It has nothing to do with whether the poor are actually helped, or whether some liberal elitist politician is just playing them for power -
the only thing that matters is the feeling of self-righteousness they get for “caring”.
And if you try to bring up contrary points, you’re “evil”, because “you don’t care”.
My thoughts on the subject are reflected in the reason we have “don’t feed the bears” signs in parks.
Same with “fixing” education. If education was ever “fixed”, what would politicians talk about at campaign time?
You cannot destroy the negative. It does NOT exist. Poverty is the negation of wealth and provision. As such it cannot be destroyed or diminished. Attempting to destroy poverty will only destroy that which does exist, i.e., wealth. And the war on poverty has destroyed trillions of dollars and also millions of lives.
