In America today, just like in Lake Woebegone, every child is above average and every child gets a trophy. We may score low in international grade comparisons but we rank number one in self-esteem. In other words, American students may not be doing well but they think they are. Those of us old enough to remember how Dad could control the situation with a look and when you got in trouble in school your parents didn’t sue or contact the School Board you got in trouble at home too are also old enough to remember Watergate.
This scandal that the general public still does not understand brought down a president and led to the Watergate Congress which threw away the victory in Vietnam and solidified the Progressive control of Congress until 1994. Today we are confronted with contempt for the Constitution and the rule of law that makes the Watergate Scandal look like the tempest in a teapot that it actually was. How many people died as a result of the Watergate Scandal = 0. How many have died as a result of the Fast and Furious debacle = at least 200 and still counting, including an American law enforcement officer. How did Richard Nixon disrespect, disregard or violate the Constitution in the Watergate Scandal = 0 (although his use of Executive privilege did spark a constitutional crisis). How many times has Barack Obama disrespected, disregarded or violated the Constitution during his time in office = at least twice as documented below by making recess appointments while Congress was still in session and refusing to enforce laws.

All the ‘grownups’ tell us he can’t be impeached for various reasons like :
It will cause race riots.
It will make him a martyr.
The Senate won’t convict, so let him go
The media won’t like it and say bad things about Republicans.

Impeachment is easy. Removal from office requires a 2/3 vote to convict in the Senate. Now please provide the names of 13 democrat senators who will vote to convict.

Heck, I couldn’t name 13 REPUBICAN Senate frat boys who would vote to convict.
That doesn’t mean that the House should neglect their authority and responsibilities to protect the nation.
The case for the impeachment of this president is overwhelming. There is widespread agreement that he has committed impeachable offenses, yet Congress will not impeach and convict the man. This is pathetic beyond words. Shame on Democrats and Republicans. The Founders wasted their time casting Pearls before swine.
Why is NO ONE demanding an answer to that question?
When this nightmare is finally over, watch how many of the MSM “journalists” suddenly come out of the woodworks with the truth about the BC and everything else about zero’s background, all hoping to win a Pulitzer.

I hope you are right.
If the evidence presented is so overwhelming then the dems would look like utter fools for not convicting. Maybe some of them would like to save their party and may think this is the way to do it. You never know till you try.
When this nightmare is over, there shouldn’t be too many LSM journalists who aren’t hanging from a tree.
The only pointless thing are the nattering nabobs of negativity.
I don’t believe that there are enough virtuous and honorable Democrats in the Senate to convict our Emperor; and that’s assuming that the GOP would overwhelming support impeachment.

Wow! How stunningly timely that is!
The nastiest card left in the deck, is a Resolution, proclaiming the sense of the Congress that the Constitution has been voided by the President's action, and it is up to the military and/or the American people to restore it. In essence, the legislative branch could simply say that the Constitutional Republic is gone, and cannot be revived because of partisan politics.
That would be the prelude to Civil War, but screw it; we are done either way. This is the LAST card available; but we are not there yet.
