....... they have to pay fees for nothing I doubt many will step up

Sort of like wanting to pay taxes. I doubt many will be that excited about it.

Additionally, the guy that was paying illegals $15 per hour will realize that the ones that get “fingerprinted” will now cost them $25 per hour.

They know they will never be deported. Many may have reservations about being fingerprinted.

I am listening to Micheal Medved ( I know- he is a RINO), however he stated entering the country illegally was not a federal crime. It was more like a minor misdemeanor, like a civil violation. If he is correct, there would be no liability in hiring illegals.

The Obama administration operates like a criminal enterprise. Businesses know that. If a mob guy shows up and says, ‘Nice place you got here; be a shame if something was to happen to it’, business owners know what to do.

Ditto the Obama administration and hiring the illegals Obama ‘legalized’. Obama wants them hired. Businesses know what to do.

I did not say there would be liability in hiring them; however, if the illegal injures someone while on the job there would be a big liability to the employer. The employer would be asked if he knowingly hired a person who had violated Federal law. According to liability law this would make the employer automatically liable. Case closed. This is how liability law reads. Hew Hewitt devoted an entire show to this.
