Superintendent Michael D. Sander was apparently either home sick on those days when his teachers covered the Bill of Rights, or he wasn't paying attention. On the other hand, maybe he just had lousy teachers. In any event, people can overcome many educational deficiencies through the application of common sense, but - regrettably - Superintendent Sander fails to get up to speed there as well. He appears to be eminently qualified to wear the following aphorism around his neck:

"Those who can, do; those who can't, teach; those who can neither do nor teach become public school administrators."

My parents (one a teacher, the other an ex-teacher) used to pull that one out of the holster - so to speak - much to my amusement.

Living in Indianapolis, my guess is Mr. Sanders has much larger fish to fry than to worry about that gun shop and/or our constitution. In fact, his school, and every other school in this country, should be REQUIRED to teach about the U.S. Constitution, which includes the 2nd Ammendment. Like it or not, it IS the law of our land. If he does not like it here, there are ships and planes leaving everyday that will take him to a place where he can “like” their way of life over ours. He needs to be removed as the “superintendent”.
