I’ve had a few encounters with police officers while with my dog, from riding in a helicopter with Sam sitting between myself and the OPP officer, to getting an hour long ride in a police car with Sam in the back seat and once getting selected for a random safety check while Sam was with me and when the officers doing the checking found out who Sam was they said no way they were going to find anything wrong with my vehicle and sent me on my way with handshakes and smiles. All the encounters between police and my dog have been very positive....
...but, my worse nightmare is running into a power tripping, trigger happy a-hole with a badge who looks at my dog and sees a threat.
And thank God that you have only had positive encounters. Wish that others could say that oo.
