The fiancée of Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who died of Ebola in Dallas, has landed a deal to publish a memoir.

“I am writing this book to tell people about Eric, about our love story, about our family and about my faith that has been tested but not broken,” Louise Troh said in a statement released Thursday.

“The love of my life and the father of my son came to America to marry me,” she added. “It was supposed to be the first happy day of a new life of joy for us all. But before we could make our new family, he died a terrible death in a quarantined room.”

The memoir would “be an exclusive in-depth account of Louise Troh’s long journey from Liberia to America and the decades-long love story that was stopped short by a deadly epidemic,” the Dallas Morning News reports....

I could write that book in one sentence: My fiancé snuck into this country with a deadly disease, almost caused an epidemic, died and I subsequently won the lottery. The end.

Ah but you see your work would be non fiction, while her book will belong in the fantasy section of the book store.

My fiancé snuck into this country with a deadly disease...

Fiancé? Hardly. They hadn't seen each other or communicated for 19 years. He had a baby with her but they never married. Plus he possibly was the father of the pregnant girl who died of ebola.

Her book will sell fewer copies than Crystal Mangum's book about her alleged rape by the lacrosse team.

Not a "fiance"...

Simply "mating partner".

You know Oprah will have an hour long special with her and the book will be on her book club list and she’ll probably produce and star in the movie. Of course, she’ll use the “Texas crackers denied a black man medical care and killed him” slant to the movie and ignore that fact that he knowingly lied about being exposed to Ebola and that he never had anything to do with any of the offspring that resulted from nothing more than wham bam thank you ma’am. We can’t even get rid of the diseased liar after he’s six feet under. I don’t suppose Oprah would then send some pocket change to help the hospital recover some of the expenses from being all but closed down for weeks.

Hospital needs to sue for payment of his medical bills. Can they do that?

Almost certainly written off as part of the agreement. Plus, none of those people are actually RELATED to Thomas Duncan by birth or by marriage, as far as I know. It’d be like you dying in the hospital and I sue them and somehow win.

Hospital should sue for the right to recover their expenses from all profits from so-called book. These people are being coached by libs on how to play the system. Disgusting. Sickening. Completely.
