Here’s Why The GOP Will Fail America–Like It Or Not
Western Journalism ^ | Nov 6, 2014 | Judge Andrew Napolitano

Posted on 11/06/2014 11:49:35 AM PST by Ray76

Because of the way the news business works, I am writing this column before the close of the polls in the so-called midterm elections; and hence as I write, I do not know their outcome. Will the Republicans or the Democrats control the U.S. Senate for the next two years? Will it make a difference?

Judge, we already have a bumper crop of Talking Trolls from ‘across the aisle’. Do you really want to be known as a Nathering Nabob of Negativity? That’s what a McCain is for.

The New World Order owns the Republican party. Boehner must go or there will be no reason to vote republican in 2016.

Judge, you depress me! All good points, but can’t you allow another day for me to relish Tuesday’s victories?

what will a Republican Congress do?

or what will be in the future? Anybody's guess is as good as anyone's guess. Chances of being right usually run about 1 in 10.

If, in fact, “victories” they were. Only time will tell!

yeah, I’m getting really fed up with the negative nellies - sure, there’s reasons to doubt and reasons to be suspicious - and no one I know is thinking this is a panacea - but this 100% all the time negativity and cynicism is just a very shallow and intellectually deficient mindset.

If you’re always negative and always cynical, then your opinion means nothing. It’s always the same.

They’re going to get their chance. It’s now or never. Many of us suspect the Republican establishment will continue to stink up the place and not get us any closer to the US Constitution but we hope we’re wrong. They have a perfect opportunity. I don’t want to hear any excuses or blaming somebody else.

If the people lead, the leaders will follow.

I held my nose on TUE, and will be relentless with my RINO Congress-critter the next two years.

But I also promised myself that TUE would be the last time. This is make-or-break for the GOP. If they blow it, it will be the end of them.

They have had multiple chances over the last 20 years. Dealing with reality is not the same as being negative. Yeah I’m praying I’m wrong.

Two step game plan: 1.) defeat the Obama congress critters. We’ve done that. 2.) defeat the RINO’s, replace McConnel and Boehner.

You expected too much thinking both steps could have been done Tuesday.

Replace Boehner with Gowdy.

Outraged that corporations can spend money to affect the outcome of campaigns, rejecting the concept that buying an advertisement in a newspaper or on TV is speech, and wanting to remove the word “free” from free speech, the Democrats attempted to circulate to the states an amendment to the Constitution that would have made the government the arbiter of acceptable political speech. Is Vladimir Putin consulting the Democrats?

Yet, did you hear any Republicans in the recent elections call out any Democrats for this stunt? The First Amendment has remained pristine since it was ratified in 1791, and the Democrats want to change that–and the Republicans have gone mute.

First of all, I didn't hear anything about that at all and I doubt most people did. It turns out the Republicans were able to block that proposed amendment. Wasn't that enough? What more does he want? Napolitano may think the Democrats' failed constitutional amendment is a winning issue for Republicans, but is it really? Once you get people thinking too much about money in politics who knows what they'll decide? It would have been different if Congress had approved the amendment, but since they didn't it's better to let sleeping dogs lie than to kick them and risk unpredictable reactions.

This is where idiots like you just step in shit up to your teeny tiny brain. I've never called them "my" leaders. I've never said they're "fit to lead." That's just your chidlish pathetic gutless moronic rant simply because I want to enjoy the results for a few days.

But there's this - and you've made this assinine and just brain dead sentiment before, that somehow YOU are immune to what goes on with Democrats in control. So asshole, STFU or tell me how it is YOU won't be going down with the ship. (YSFP)
