Republicans in Arizon consciously vote against birthing the next McCain.

The last thing we need is McSally in the Senate for 18 years.

I wonder if a certain Northern lady will challenge McInsane in the GOP primaries.

What are you talking about? We are praying Martha McSally wins. In what universe is a Democrat better than a Republican? You obviously don’t know much about Arizona politics.

We won enough or already in the house.

Why has McSally lost 1 primary and lost 1 general already?

We don’t need another Renee Ellmers or Ann Wagner.

Remember, McSally was a no show at Republican events during the primary, letting silence speak, knowing that she would get monetary support from the GOP’s, as when Romney came to town and raised money for her.

Greta must be disappointed that she won’t have her on anymore.

$1000 extra for a "Photo Opportunity", i.e. a photo on the wall in your office so you can claim you know someone with political clout.

Nothing says "Do business with me not because I'm competent, but because I'm connected" like a photo of a scumbag politician on the wall behind your desk.

I filled in the bubble next to Andy Tobin’s name, but as a person who routinely listens to conservative radio in the morning and at 3pm with James T. Harris, he was a no-show.

We had a conservative candidate in the primary, but that did not turn out for us.

McSally isn’t exactly on my Christmas card list but as opposed to Barber??? That should be a no-brainer.

Cochise County has yet to report which is why we’re not at 100% yet but it’s a pretty solid Republican county so McSally should come out ahead by a couple of thousand votes instead of the 36 she’s now leading by. Our job out here is going to be to hold her accountable which will be much easier than holding Barber (who knows he isn’t going to get our vote anyway) accountable.

I know something about Arizona politics, and the only office I refused to vote on yesterday was CD-2. I wouldn’t vote for the Democrat, but neither would I vote for McSally.

She was/is the most liberal of the Republicans running for Congress in Arizona. She was/is weak on illegal immigration. She avoids any talk of social issues. If she wins, she is likely to be the GOP-E’s candidate to ram down our throats every chance possible. Heck, she had her marriage civilly annulled in Arizona - something I didn’t even know was possible. That meant her marriage was held to have never been valid to begin with - and how does one do that? Check out the law and get back with me.

I also loathed her when she was in the military. Her behavior in Saudi Arabia, complaining about discrimination when she was being given special treatment already, disgusted me. So did her going to the SecDef with the backing of Congresswomen - an act that would have gotten me canned. And I spent a LOT more time in the ME than she did!

I won’t cut my wrists if she pulls out a victory, but I sure am not praying for her to win. Barber won’t be able to do any harm in the very Republican House, and we’d have a better chance of getting rid of him next time.

Oh...and I remember how the GOP-E acted when conservatives won the primary. They came out with the knives and attacked the conservatives. I largely remained silent on McSally, but I won’t shed any tears if she loses.

I was surprised to see that Barber had an “I” next to his name. He was Gabby Gifford’s second in command after all.

It has been a bittersweet victory for me, since the wave broke on the shoals of Southern AZ. During the tea party heydey, we in north northwest, were much more involved than even Phoenix.

We are an example of the system breakdown of the moderate Repub machine. I wish big money (I am looking at you Jim Click and perhaps, the kingmakers like Bruce Ash, et al., would support conservatives, which is the true makeup of this county.

Not supporting Kwasman, when he went preemptively to Oracle to rebuff the illegal kids to be placed in the juvenile home, was also a bad move.

On the good side, we now have two conservative state reps going to Phoenix, a switch from a very dem area, that Grijalva has had two great opponents in the last two terms, Ruth McClung and Gabby Mercer, but if it weren’t for the lack of money and support from the GOP (except, I think Palin’s Pac gave to Gabby) would have been GREAT to represent southern AZ.

I know Gabby and she is a great lady, but just lacked a little as a candidate. But it is true that she got zero help from the national party. She had no money and no real infrastructure and she still did fairly respectable. I think the Republicans should take another look at that district.

I have always enjoyed Gabby when I have heard her on the radio, and one time I overheard her voice somewhere, and recognized it from the radio and met her.

James T. Harris is going to interview her today. I think she made a good point several weeks ago, when she pointed out that Gabby Giffords got help from her party, in what was suppose to be a republican stronghold.

Sometimes I think the GOP powers-that-be want the gerrymandering because they themselves don’t want to be in densely minority areas. That is so wrong, true conservatism can help everybody and anybody; democrats destroy neighborhoods and lives and the people of South Tucson want what we have in the Northwest. (I know this from personal relationships.)

Tell Gabby, keep on keeping on!

She’s a pro-life republican. That lying SOS Barber is finally gone.

If I have to hear about how “Martha McSally is waging a war on women. Martha McSally wants to take away a woman’s right to choose. Martha McSally wants to cut funding for Planned Parenthood,” one more time...

“I voted for her because I will never vote democrat.”

And that is your right and I respect your decision. She may have won, too.

But what she did in the Middle East really chapped my butt back when I was deployed there half of each year, and I knew a lot of A-10 pilots who felt the same way. For me, I could not vote for her and I would not vote for Barber...so I left that office blank.
