I kind of have mixed feelings about Beckel. He's definitely an idiot but sometimes he's fun to watch. I love it when he gets mad and pouts. And as far as I've seen he's the only one that can get Dana Perino angry and I love it when she tears into him. Very entertaining.

Also, did anybody catch what he said last night about the 'rats holding back votes in Fairfax County? He said he had personally done it. Wish somebody would have asked him how a campaign worker had access to ballots.

I have told this before, but will tell again.

I can count on one finger how many times I heard Tony Snow get angry with a caller to his radio show.

This caller was not a ranting lunatic. He was making very good points, expressing what we all felt at the time. He made a not so nice reference to Bob Beckel. I agreed with him. I am sure many of us did.

Tony cut him off at the pass. He told the caller he knew Beckel. Beckel was his friend and a good man. Goodbye.

That is when I began looking at Beckel beyond the politics. Rough around the edges, vulgar at times, not much of a filter between his mouth & his brain. I think underneath it all, he has a good heart.

When I see him on The Five, I try to see him through the eyes of Tony Snow.
