No, actually. Posting an intro. like this NEVER wins hearts. People generally take a wait-and-see attitude. They’ll either accuse you of being a fake, or they’ll say, “Welcome”, and post some smart arse remark, but I have yet see an initial vanity post in which ppls hearts and minds were change in a profound and positive way.
