How about Hoffman (?) who hit the palm tree in California? The takeaway from his death and Breitbart’s is that if you have some blockbuster information you don’t tell people you have it. You spring it without warning. It is not useful to kill someone after he has released the damaging info. It is profitable to keep that person from releasing it in the first place. Revenge is much more dangerous to the avenger than prevention.
That would be Michael Hastings who’s car crashed into a tree and the engine when flying. I had posted shortly after that some weekly fictional tv crime drama show like CSI or some such (can’t remember which) had a show on it. It was very freaky. I was jumping up and down in front of the tv telling the family exactly what was going to happen next. The reporter character’s name was too similar to Hastings to be coincidental. I think someone in Hollywood was trying to get the word out that it wasn’t just an accident.
