It was an understatement that they are hard to bust through. The truth is that either the door will have to be smashed apart, or torn out of its hinges in a wooden door frame. If it is a residential steel door (sold at Loew’s and Home Depot), in a steel frame, it (breaking through) is just not happening. Much easier to go through a window.
