If they were just nuts there wouldn’t be much of a problem. Socialists today are no different than socialists were 100 years ago. No different than the National Socialists in Germany during the 30s.

They are hardly nuts and they are very much a threat to the Constitution and the Republic. We thought they went away when FDR finally did the country a service and died and when Adolf gave himself a lead injection. They didn’t, and they’re back with a vengeance.

Socialism appeals to narcissistic politicians and to the dispossessed. Narcissists are attracted to it because, ironically, socialism is inherently hierarchical - albeit a dichotomous hierarchy with the ‘special people’ on the top, and then the masses below them. Narcissistic politicians are attracted to the idea of being special ‘leaders’ who are able to ‘save the masses’, (e.g. Castro).

Back in the day, socialists, communists, fascists, we just called 'em all commies. They are always wanting to tell you how to live your life, trying to take your wealth in the process.

The victims number in the millions.
