JUST IN: New video shows Ebola patient Nina Pham in her Dallas hospital bed before her transfer to NIH in Maryland for treatment.
The brave young nurse asked that her doctors share this with the public.

There’s always Nurse Writebol. Wonder if she volunteered for Duncan or not. Not that she’s obligated. We haven’t heard anything from her.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Rumor mill says the hospital is having staffing issues.
Imagine that.
Prayers for both young nurses. If they make it through this, they will be “rockstars”.
I am guessing they moved her to a different hospital, to get experience in another place dealing with ebola. And maybe Dallas demanded they get them out of the city.
Anyway, they will get good care. hope all turns out well

I had read that she asked, but something about her blood was not compatible with his.
She sure is .... And as a nurse, my very soul just aches for her .... I just pray God grants her special protection against this ... She didn’t deserve this ....
I wonder how our derelict president would feel if it were one of his daughters in that hospital bed .... Damn him .... Just damn him and all who support him.

She looks SO SWEET in that video. I pray she makes it. For someone who likely doesn’t know the first thing about partisan politics, she is the LAST PERSON that deserves this punishment.
Now if it were a Democrat Activist trying to score points against the Tea Party...no comment.
From what I understand, this young lady was monitoring her temperature several times a day prior to going the hospital last Friday. As soon as she saw her temp go above normal for her, she alerted Presybyterian Hospital and drove herself to the hospital. Kudos to her for doing all she could to head this off at the pass, so to speak.
Supremely professional, even in the face of this horrible disease. May the LORD keep and protect her.

Too much heat on the Dallas Hospital. It was going to bankrupt the hospital for a variety of reasons. Had to turn the attention away from Dallas before it was too late for the hospital to recover from all the negative press, IMO.
IMHO the case load from the Dallas hospital will top 30 infections, primary and on from there in these peoples’ circle of family and friends.
The fat lady has not yet begun to sing, but on the brighter side she is planning another run for the presidency in 2016.
If these women survive, they are two more people, possibly two more blood types, that can be used to cure others.
