Eyewitness to Michael Brown Shooting: Darren Wilson Was Justified
Pundit Press ^ | 10/16/14 | Aurelius

A new eyewitness has emerged in the Michael Brown shooting incident in Ferguson. Witnesses partial to Mr. Brown have stated that Darren Wilson, the officer who shot him, killed the teen in cold blood. In a newly released interview, an impartial eyewitness casts serious doubts on other witnesses' stories.

The witness, who was not named, specifically says the things that protesters said happened are dead wrong. More than that, in corroborating what Mr. Wilson has stated happened, this witness seems to say that officer Wilson was justified in his actions. And the witness just testified to the grand jury hearing the Darren Wilson case.

First, according to the witness, officer Wilson had an altercation with Brown in a police car, yet restrained himself and did not fire on Brown.

Second, Michael Brown did not raise his hands above his head, nor did he say anything akin to, "Hands up, don't shoot." Instead, he put his arms to his sides.

Third, officer Wilson repeatedly told Brown to stop as Brown approached him. Brown did not listen to multiple commands to stop, and only when Brown greatly closed the gap between the two men (to about 20 feet), did Wilson fire.

” The original story we heard that
Wilson gunned down a teenager in cold
blood, without provocation, in broad
daylight, when his hands were up, and his
back was turned....well that story really
doesn’t make sense.”

Shall I point out the numerous events where cops have done EXACTLY that, or near?
First clue, Dorner Hunt. You’ll note the cops got away with that.

Maybe I’d have more confidence in reasonable interpretations, if cops didn’t give us a lot of unreasonable crap.

Dorner?

Are you referring to the women whose truck got shot up? I don’t think the police ‘got away’ with it, as much as they ‘bought her off’.

Are you referring to when they torched the cabin? IIRC, they at least have plausible deniability and claim the teargas canisters ignited the fire.

So no, I get no ‘clue’ from Dorner.

And I really don’t recall an instance where a lone cop goes into a low income housing area, and...in the middle of the freaking street!?!...guns down a completely harmless victim. Deliberately. In cold blood. When his hands were up. And his back was turned.

Maybe you can fill me in on a ‘clue’ when you find an example of that happening.

The story that everybody is rioting about just flat does not make sense or pass the smell test of being reasonable in any way.

Wilson would be dead today and nobody in the media would even mention his name. However, the tone with the media is still that Brown was the good guy.

The high tech, modern lynch mob ready to go. It was clear what will happen when the mob approached the pizza place in suburban St Louis when they thought it was conducting a fund raiser for Wilson. They would have clearly burned it down if the fund raiser had been happening. But the media will cover and excuse any actions the mob takes. Get ready.

Might I point out that we have never heard the cops side of the story. What is supposedly his side is only rumor and conjecture. There have been no published interviews with him, only stories about what he supposedly said.

“Are you referring to the women whose truck got shot up? I don’t think the police ‘got away’ with it, as much as they ‘bought her off’.”

Yes the women, and the white guy too. And yes, the officers got away with it. The government bought ‘bought her off’. That is also an inappropriate term, as they DID owe their victims.

But the cops in question behaved very unreasonable, and the officers faced no consequences to their unreasonable actions. Now what kind of message do you think that sends to other cops? “Screw up, we’ll cover you.”

The clue is that there are examples of cops killing and harming people under unreasonable situations. You assume cops will act reasonable. Why? No one is holding them to reasonable standards. Thus, unreasonable events are becoming more common. Cops don’t fear making mistakes.

And you never will. He has been told by his lawyer and bosses to shut up. But I think it quite easy to assume his story will line up with their ‘official’ version of events. Or do you suppose he secretly knows he is guilty and wants to confess?

Truth is, he probably is innocent in this one. My only comments have been directed at the trust worthiness of these investigations. I don’t trust them, and for good reason.

First, according to the witness, officer Wilson had an altercation with Brown in a police car,

That would be when Brown hit Wilson; but we do not know for sure that Wilson's eye socket was broken. That has not been verified yet.

*firing with one banged up eye*

basically should have been applauded as a hero for how many lives did he save by his actions?

Bad sentence but you know what I am saying.
