I was in Katrina, so I missed that.
I don't think I've paid much attention to Mr. Smith, frankly, since his dust-up over a parking spot in Tallahassee during the chad-cluster in 2000.
He's a hysteric, very likely saddled with a disorder somewhere along the autism spectrum, with all respect for his fellow sufferers. Very little critical thinking happening inside that head of his, I'm afraid, and I do not know why people take him seriously. It's a mystery to me.
Maybe someone among my fellow Freepers can explain the appeal to me...
I saw him today and had to turn it off. I don’t know who is worse...Shep or Geraldo. They both make me run for the remote.
Funny this comes from Shep-—he was damned near in tears on a balcony in LA right before Katrina. He turned into a real puddle, when he was scared of the storm coming.
I slept through most of it, since the power was out.
Apparently, Shep is a mouthpiece for the administration. He’s not as bad as Alan Colmes who used to carry the democratic talking points so he could visibly refer to them. However, not to deny his leader, we’re quite certain Shep reads his off a teleprompter.
Last week, Shep was spouting how you’re not in danger unless you come into direct contact with bodily fluids. And you knew he meant, “Don’t roll in their blood, feces, or urine or spread it on your hands and face.”
Like a good little Obama mouthpiece.
