EARNEST: "......, from ensuring that we could recover from the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. To putting in place that were critical to the success and rebuilding -- a renaissance of the U.S. auto industry. Shepherded a process that reformed our healthcare system in a way that has paid dividends for small businesses and middle class families all across the country. On the president's watch we've seen the biggest reform of the financial system since the Great Depression, in a way that has significantly increased protections for consumers.

So if you take a look at the president's record, the president is pleased with the success that he has had on behalf of the American people in pursuing the kinds of values that he wants."

He’s in good company.

Guys like Robert Mugabe and other tin pot dictators are also pretty impressed with themselves and their records of “achievement”.

I’ve worked with disabled children who were proud of the contents of their diapers.

This doesn’t surprise me.

I learned a ‘new’ word today, more of re-learn the meaning of such word -

P S Y C H O S I S

(from Wiki) “...an abnormal condition of the mind, and is a generic psychiatric term for a mental state often described as involving a “loss of contact with reality”.

Gold Star for improving the economy?

I don't think so.

Here is how the general population is feeling the great recession, from 2008 to 2013.

Almost 50% inflation on the essentials such as food, gas, toiletries, etc.

Go to www.thepeoplehistory.com/pricebasket.html

And yet, income declined by 10%.

US Census showed median income went from $56,000 to $51,000.

With real unemployment U6 well somewhere around 12-14% and shadowstats at about 24%, the economy sucks.

And also people are not spending money. There are now articles on how people are "hoarding" money. Well yes, people are not doing well in this Greater Depression, and as a result, they are tightening their belts, holding onto what little they have left, because they don't know what is around the corner, or in other words, how Obama and the democrats are going to screw them again.

“Narcissistic assh*le...”

No kidding! Who as President (or through his surrogate) would get up there and say to the country “I’m really pleased with myself!” Unbelieveable!

: No, the president is pleased on the record he has amassed in his almost six years in office,

but at what cost?

libtards can ignore that since they live in a fantasy world

As I watched this short video of Ronald Reagan’s tribute to America and our freedoms to excel and achieve and the heroes that sacrificed to keep it that way, I cannot for the life of me, imagine President Obama giving this speech without lying through his despicable teeth and smirking and apologizing about had bad this country really is. He could repeat the same words verbatim, but you and I would not believe him and would know that he was just going through the motions for appearances sake. But to hear these words from President Reagan, lifts my heart, swells a lump in my throat and brings tears to my eyes, for there may still be hope for this country to rid ourselves of these enemies within and turn this big ship around to greatness again. Remember, it has only taken one generation removed from Reagan for Obama to bring America to its knees. It will take time, hard work and sacrifice to restore our freedoms and greatness, but as with anything worth saving, it will not come easy. But it can be done.

These words by Reagan will give us all real hope and inspiration again.

>>> for there may still be hope for this country to rid ourselves of these enemies within

Depends on our younger generations.

Have they been thoroughly indoctrinated? Do they start their thinking “..... BUT, .....”
